| What kind of food is distributed? | Normally recipients recieve canned and dried portions of soup, milk, fruit, vegetables, meat, pasta, and tomato sauce. We also give peanut butter, jelly, bread, and cereal. These are food items we ask people to donate. |
| Where should food contributions be delivered? | The warehouse is at 9E Easy Street, in the Middle Brook Industrial Park (formerly Central Jersey Industrial Park) on Route 22 Eastbound in Bridgewater. Contributions are recieved from 10am - 3pm Monday through Friday. |
| Is a food bank really necessary in Somerset County, one of the wealthiest counties in the Untied States? | Since opening in 1982 the number of people served has increased steadily. Many recipients have recently lost jobs or suffered a devastating illness - people who "never dreamed they'd be at a food bank." |
| Where is food distributed? | Pantries are located at 95 Veteran's Memorial Dr. East, Somerville; Vermule Community Center, Greenbrook Rd., North Plainfield and Our Lady of Mercy Church, 122 High St., South Bound Brook. |
| Is the Food Bank Network of Somerset County associated with any other Food Bank? | No. There are a number of food banks serving communities in New Jersey, many with confusingly similar names, but we are not associated with any other orginization. |
